Blog Post #33 – Tarot Reading for the week of March 18th – March 25th

New beginnings. a fresh start. travel. adventure. trust. protection. yes. intuition. This week’s Tarot Reading card is #0/beginnings/tara. in other tarot decks it is more commonly known as ‘the fool’. it’s main meaning is new beginnings.  this is where the tarot journey begins and ends, as in life, the journey is never ending. the journey is a circle which is full of cycles, beginnings and endings which always lead to a new beginning. sound confusing? put in a more easily understandable form, think of this card as the phase in life where you are in your youth. just starting out in the world and when everything was/is about you. you are/were making your personality traits, your moral stance, your belief system, your own personal connections. this is the young person before you became a partner, a wife/husband, a mother/father, or a grandmother/grandfather. this was the phase where you began the journey of becoming the person you chose to be. every step since birth was a new beginning. then once you complete the phase of becoming that individual, you then take the next step to find your mate and become a couple. From there you may have become a parent. from there you may have become a grandparent. from there,you come full circle and come to the stage where you are discovering  the new you. the you that you have become. through all the lessons you have learned along your journey through life as a part of others lives. You have journeyed though the stages of maiden/wife/mother/crone;youth/adulthood/maturity, or birth/child/youth. now you have come full circle and it is time to step into the new you or your next phase in life. you may not even be fully aware ‘who you are’ at this point. This is an exciting time filled with endless possibilities. everything has become new again, including you! every step and decision you make from here on out is a new one. you now have the ability to recreate yourself on your own terms. you will be determining just what your likes and dislikes are now, without having to worry what your parents, your significant other, the kids, or even your grand kids think. this new beginning is about you. about  discovering and creating the you that you want to be for the journey/phase of your life that you are just beginning today. that’s pretty exciting stuff!!! this card speaks of fresh starts. new beginnings.  plans you can count on being a resounding “yes” to!!! it also says that as you start out, you can trust that you are being protected by the universe and that spirit has your back in any new adventures or ventures. you can trust your gut instincts even though others may think you are crazy or reckless. if you are asking if now is the time to take that trip, dye your hair, ask for that raise, make that career change… this card is the signal to take a chance. this card is the big “yes” card!!!! it’s the beginning of spring. new blood is flowing through the flowers and trees, the sun has awoken, and newness is everywhere you look. get in on the action and take your new steps in knowing and discovering yourself. now is the time to create…you!!!!
