Card 1.

molybdenite

~ A message from the stars~

Your life is always held in perfect equilibrium by the divine natural order that exists within all creation. Believing that you have somehow failed or made the wrong decision or choice is simply an illusion. There is nothing you need to change or fix in your life, apart from your sometimes unbalanced perceptions – mainly your self-criticism. Know that you are always blessed. Start to accept all of who you are, as you are, and you will see your life magically and lovingly transform. All is in perfect divine order.

From a spiritual perspective, there are no mistakes in life. Every experience is a lesson in love and wisdom.

Card 2.

clear quartz

~Infinite possibilities~

Clear Quartz crystals can be programmed with whatever qualities you desire, for just like you, this crystal is full of infinite possibilities.

This card is asking you to reflect on all that you would love to have and to achieve in life. Make a list, and then mentally infuse this card (or alternatively, a real Clear Quartz crystal) with all the qualities and things you wish to manifest. Carry this card or crystal with you – keep it close to your heart and mentally envisage your life as you would love it to be. Set realistic goals for yourself and repeat this ritual daily until your goals are reached, then set new goals. Remember – all is possible if you believe it. Just make sure it is truly what your heart desires.

Life is a journey, not a destination.

THE HIGH PRIESTESS

This week’s Purple Swan Tarot Blog Post card is THE HIGH PRIESTESS. This card symbolizes the ability to know and understand the duality in the world and ourselves. Light & dark, Male & Female, Yin & Yang, Black & White, what is external as opposed to what is internal. But with THE HIGH PRIESTESS, the Feminine, intuitive, the secretive, the hidden, the shadow, the internal, the hidden and veiled side of our nature is revealed and brought to the forefront. She is the Maiden in the Moon… young, seductive, beautiful and mysterious. She is desired by many but truly known and possessed by no one but herself.

THE HIGH PRIESTESS holds the key to the ‘Book of  Knowledge’. She possesses all knowledge and reveals that which is hidden. Only by accessing one’s intuition and going inside oneself can we hope to access this knowledge and find the answers we seek. In order to do this, one must be willing to be still. To seek a quiet place where one can be alone with ones thoughts and feelings. To meditate. To be so still, quiet and reflective that they are able to hear the rustling of the wind and the small still voice of the angels and ones soul. In doing so, you can gain entrance to your intuition and hear the whispered answers to the questions your soul seeks. THE HIGH PRIESTESS holds the knowledge of the ancients and the answers to all questions asked. She holds the key as well as guards the gate of wisdom. She knows what is behind the many layered veils of illusion that we call life.

Yes, she holds the key to the gate which accesses the answers you seek. But, can you quiet yourself, slow your breath, stop your activities, and calm your mind long enough to find her within yourself? Only in doing so will you be able to peer behind the veils of illusion and peek at the pages of ‘The Book of Knowledge’ she holds in order to find the guidance and answers you seek. Will you free up the time,  make the space, access the stillness inside yourself in order to gain access through the gate and to the answers you seek? This is what THE HIGH PRIESTESS is offering you this week; But only if you agree to meet her terms. Will you accept her offer? Will you open the gate and part the veils?

Card 1.

Time to Move On

“It’s time to let go of the old and worn out so that the new can come in.”

By drawing this card, you’re alerted to the fact that you need to make room for the new by letting go of the old. First,  let go emotionally and intellectually. In other words, “quit” or “say goodbye” in your mind and heart.
Once you do this, the physical letting go will happen naturally, in a peaceful and harmonious way. Ask Heaven to help you make this transition, and don’t plan, scheme, or worry about how your letting go (or replacement) will occur. Put all of your energy into prayer and faith, and leave the rest up to Infinite Spirit. You’ll get definite guidance whenever it’s the right moment to take action. Until then, stay lovingly detached from your old situation.

Card 2.

Contemplation Time

“Spend time alone, meditating upon what you truly desire.”

This card indicates that you need some alone time. Make a firm appointment to be by yourself in a quiet place (ideally, outside in nature or near some plants) without delay. Make sure that you’ll be uninterrupted for at least one hour. Take a pad of paper and a pen with you.                                               Then, spend some time simply breathing, relaxing, and centering yourself. After you’re completely relaxed, write down this question to your subconscious mind on your pad of paper: “What do I want to do next?” Write whatever comes to you in response, without worrying whether it’s “correct” or not. Then, ask your subconscious: “What’s my heart’s true desire right now?” Write down the answer. Spend some time noting your true priorities so that you’ll know how to structure your free time to match what’s important to you.

Card 3.

Ready, Set, Go!

“Now is the perfect moment to dive in and embrace your heart’s desire.

Even though you might not feel entirely ready, this card says that there’s no better time than the present to dive into your future. You’re advised to take both big and small steps to move in the direction of your dreams.                                       Push aside everything unrelated to your life’s mission. Adjust your schedule so that the bulk of your time relates to your priorities and goals. Delegate tasks to other people, or hire someone to assist you. Your responsibilities will still be met, you’ll be happier, you’ll enjoy greater self-esteem, and you’ll attract more abundance in the long run – if you jump in and follow your heart.

Archangel Ariel – STRENGTH

This week’s Reading is re-posted from a Blog Post from June 8th, 2020. I thought we could all use a little more Strength during these trying times. With Love & Light, Purple Swan*

The card chosen for this week’s Purple Swan Tarot Blog Post Reading is Archangel Ariel – STRENGTH. You have great strength and compassion! The kindness and understanding that you give to others are a blessed gift. However, it is equally important to show gentleness toward yourself. You may see aspects within you that cause you worry or impatience. But every person is a child of God. It is by balancing all aspects of yourself with love and mercy that you learn to exhibit those same qualities to people around you.

You are far stronger than you may believe. The situation you find yourself in requires a very soft and sensitive approach. Archangel Ariel can help you stay strong in the face of any challenge.

ADDITIONAL MEANINGS OF THIS CARD: Self-confidence. Patience. Self-control. Forgiveness. Inner strength. Influence through kindness.

Archangel Ariel is the angel known for protecting animals, the environment, and she can inspire great courage in the heart’s of those who seek to safeguard our world. Her name means “lioness of God,” and she can inspire great courage in the hearts of those who call upon her. Archangel Ariel is also known to be an angel of manifesting the essentials of daily life. Call upon Ariel if you’re feeling uncertain or experiencing the a lack of confidence, and she will help you get in touch with your own inner strength.

My take on the STRENGTH card is this:

Strength. Courage. Fortitude. Conviction. Energy. Determination. Resolution. Defiance. Action. Confidence. Innate ability. Zeal. Fervor. Matter over mind. Mind over matter. Accomplishment. Warrior for a cause. Calm control. Composure. Conquering ones instincts and fears.

When you feel like pulling your hair out, yelling profanities, or “telling it like it is” loud and clear at the top of your lungs; Look up and murmur under your breath… “Lord, give me STRENGTH!” Then while remembering this cards image: Take several deep breaths and slowly count to three. Calm down, compose yourself,  and KNOW with certainty, there’s nothing you can’t do… even this! Soldier on because you are a Warrior!

This cards’ primary energy is that of compassion. It’s about calming your fears and doubts, using compassion towards ourselves and others. Calm down your instinctive nature with gentleness and compassion. You don’t always have to be loud and fierce to be strong. Sometimes gentle strength and compassion speak louder than harsh words and bravito. When we come upon a scared animal we want to come closer to us, we gentle our voice and fill it with compassion. This is the energy this card is asking us to express. Do you have someone in your life that yells, growls and tries to to convince you how brave and fierce they are with their display of bluster?   Yet you know in your heart it is all coming from a place of pain, fear or a lack of confidence? Yep… that is the energy of this card. It is asking you to be strong yet gentle with yourself and others you come in contact with whom may growl at you or react instinctively out of pain, fear or a lack of confidence. Don’t let all their bluster fool you. It’s all a big show. Know that their growl is worse than their bite. They are really just a pussy cat once you take the time and effort to tame them. When they growl at you, react with kindness and compassion. Be gentle and calm their (or your own)  fears.  On the flip side of this card, it may be that you have been too demur and now it is time to show your Lion or Lioness side. Step into your power with confidence and fierceness. Show the power of your convictions. Stop letting others make you play small or plant little seeds of doubt in your mind. Act with strength and determination. Don’t be a doormat any longer… show them what you’re made of! Stand up for yourself. Say “I’m here, I’m not going away. I’m here to stay!” I’m proud of my accomplishments and I plan to make my mark on the World. Know that anything worth attaining can be accomplished with will and determination. You want it? Then go get it! Acting like a shrinking Violet isn’t going to cut it! Step out and shine, baby!!! It’s time to fortify your sense of Self and step into the true you whom is strong, powerful, confident, competent and a force to be reckoned with! Own it! Be that Lion or Lioness you know is within you! Stand up and be counted, but do it with gentleness, calm and compassion. That is the true strength of this Warrior/Lioness.

TEMPERANCE

 Moderation ~  Patience ~ Harmony~ Balance ~ Tranquility ~ Discernment

TEMPERANCE is about taking the middle road in life. Keeping your emotions and physical life in balance. Your work and personal life balanced as well. Using discernment in making decisions. Having patience with yourself and others as well as with the process of transformation. To use moderation in all that you do. Not too hot and not to cold in temperament or environment. Not being a doormat nor acting out in anger either. No excess in physical pleasures, but also not denying yourself pleasure. Keep your elements of Trinity in balance. By following the Golden Rule of TEMPERANCE, you’ll be blessed from above and assured a life of balance, tranquility and harmony.

There is peace and contentment available to those who live their lives with TEMPERANCE. When you walk the middle road, you are able to stay on your right path easily. You may think this sounds like a life of boredom, but that is not so. You can still enjoy a life filled with excitement and delight, but you will avoid the downfalls and problems that excess always brings with it. By weighing the pro’s and con’s when making decisions, you can avoid much of the pitfalls and regrets that come with rash or impulsive choices. Those that spend their lives chasing money and prestige tend to work excessively at the expense of their health and relationships. Those who’s lives are ruled by excess tend to be unbalanced and are addicted to one thing or the other and they may lead a very shallow, unhappy life. Patience is also a element of TEMPERANCE’s message. It is easy to become impatient when we want something very badly or we are becoming frustrated. But we must be patient, because everything has its perfect moment. Push too hard and we may end up pushing it away. Becoming impatient with ourselves or others rarely accomplishes anything.  It ultimately can only cause disharmony and pain. Remember, everything has its time or season. Again, by walking the middle road, you are able to partake in the blessings in life without the unpleasant side effects excess, impatience and haste always leaves in its wake.

TEMPERANCE also speaks of Trinity. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Man, Woman, Child. Mind, Body, Emotions. Youth, Adult, Sage. Work, Play, Worship. Etc… This is a more complex state of balance and unity, but none-the-less, balance.  TEMPERANCE is the Golden Rule. And, by following the teachings of TEMPERANCE,  you can live a balanced, harmonious and fulfilled life that is blessed from above.

Wishing you all Love & Light,

4 of Pentacles

~Miserliness~

~Stingy~Penny Pinching~ ~Ebenezer Scrooge~

~Money Minded~

~Possessive~

~Certainty of Possession(s)~

~The Power  of Money~

~The Midas Touch~

~Clinging to what one possesses~

~Lack of Generosity~

~Hoarding~

~Isolation due to  a Suspicious Nature~

The card chosen for Purple Swan Tarot Blog Post this week is, the 4 of Pentacles. It’s no coincidence that the 4 on a keyboard when the ‘shift’ key is applied is the $ sign!!! In Numerology the number 4 means ones Foundation. What one builds there life upon. Ones source of safety and stability in life. What makes one feel secure in life. All this is true… you need some money in your life. But there needs to be a healthy and balanced relationship with money or it can possess you rather than you possessing it. If money is on your mind 24/7 or if you work all the time and don’t have any time left for life or those you love… money has become more of a problem than an asset, and you my friend, are out of balance!  With the 4 of Pentacles it indicates that the person ruled by this card’s foundation is all about money and what money can buy them. Now money in and of itself isn’t evil, we all need it to live, but there must be a balance. Some people are so obsessed with it that it becomes everything to them. It’s their identity and their sole source of power. You’ve heard it said “he has the Midas touch.” Where everything some people touch turns to gold. This can be a blessing or a curse. When money becomes their whole world and we don’t allow the time to show others how important they are to us and how much they mean to us, love and those we love suffer. This is the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the lesson he is taught by the spirits of Christmas past, present and future. Ebenezer, in the past, before money became the foundation of his entire world, was a kind and loving Lad with a Fiance whom meant the world to him. He wasn’t rich, but he had lots of friends and he was happy. But then, after seeing what riches money could buy,  he devoted himself solely to acquiring all the money he could get his hands on. Initially it was to provide a better life and home for his intended bride. But once he started acquiring his stash of money, greed set in and he became obsessed with getting more and more. Ebenezer worked all the time, isolated himself from others because he wouldn’t make any time for them, became stingy with what he already had and didn’t know when enough was enough. This is why you see the person in this card holding a coin over their heart… it shows how one can actually block off love and the heart (using money as a substitute for love and as a balm or shield for a broken heart), by worshiping money and possessions. It shows this poor fellow has isolated themselves from life (indicated by the city in the background that they have turned their back on). It shows the suspicion and paranoia that can occur when we have an ungenerous character because we think people are only after our money. It also indicates how poverty mindedness can make us stubbornly cling to what we have acquired(note that he is grasping one coin with both hands while placing both feet on two more coins, thus keeping him immobile by his greed). Notice also, that they have a coin on top of their head. This indicates that money is paramount and ALWAYS on their mind, leaving no time or thought for life or others. It wasn’t until the spirit of Christmas future showed Ebeneezer that he would die alone and uncared for and how his actions, miserliness and greed cost the life of Tiny Tim, that he woke up and changed his ways. Using his money to spread joy and happiness and at the same time, opened his own heart to love and life and all the joy a generous spirit can bring. This is the card of greed and the miser. So although money has it’s place in our lives, it is an indication that there is more to life than that… or at least there should be. In order for happiness and love to enter your life, you must have a generous spirit and an open heart. You must be willing to open your heart to others and be generous with what you have. Make a balanced budget of time and money, then stick to it. Don’t let money become your sole reason for living. After all, as you learned in pre-school … sharing is caring!

BIG BOLD VISION

This Oracle is dedicated to those who aren’t afraid to rattle some cages, ruffle some feathers and rock some boats. May your rebellious heart beat with the power of divine grace, and may your soul thrive.

You were not born to play a small role in life. You have the ability to dream big. Even if you have absolutely no idea about how your visions can come true or what all the details may look like, you can access the heart and guts of a vision by tapping into your wildest dreams and surrendering attachment to exactly how it all will work out. The details are up to the Universe. You are an active, contributing participant but not the sole player in your life journey. There is a vision or an idea that is coming to you. You may worry that it is too much for you. But, don’t worry. It is meant to be yours. Although you might have some adjustments to make and some tweaking to do as you let go of your limited thinking and open up to a fearless acceptance of bigger, brighter, more radical and more potent possibilities of creatively living your light in the world. A sign that you are cracking out of your limited thinking, to allow for a big, bold vision to come to you, is that you might feel a little dizzy with the shrinking limitations and expanding possibilities of life. You may wonder if you are allowed to access so much wonder! Remember that in your healing and growing success as you manifest this big vision, you can touch the hearts of others through your presence, your inner work, your art and your choices. It is a win – win situation! Those that are meant to live big, bold and visionary lives need to give themselves permission to break the mold and forge newer, more expansion perspectives of what is possible, what is permitted and what is of service. It’s about letting go and opening up. Others will benefit from this.  Even though it is your vision. It is not just about you!  You are being asked to remember that when something is right for you, endless synchronicities and support will flow your way, at the right time and in the right way. Stay open, receptive, playful and surrendered.

This oracle brings you a message. You are about to receive or be invited to become part of a grand visionary beginning. It has the makings of something fantastic. No matter how the journey that brings this vision into reality unfolds… and there will be some twists and turns that you don’t see coming… it is helpful for you to be open to it. Trust your heart, be still with your choices and when the time feels right and truthful, leap! This oracle brings a message for those who would like to further develop their intuitive sight. It is already happening. Trust in what you perceive. Even if it conflicts with what everyone else around you is saying or the surface of things, trust your inner perceptions. They are accurate and will help you with this also. This oracle brings a general message of positive energy. Trust that things will be coming up roses for you. Even if everything seems to be in a bit of a shambles now, it’s really just the essential mess before a truly spectacular success.

THE HANGING MAN

This week’s Purple Swan Tarot Blog Post card is, THE HANGING MAN. He means suspended movement. Surrender. A period of waiting. Taking a break from the daily grind and material pursuits. A period of stasis. A time to do nothing. Waiting for enlightenment. Seeking something deeper. Letting go.

When we receive THE HANGING MAN in our Tarot Reading, we are looking for answers. We have been caught up in the material side of life. Striving for bigger and better things. More money, a better job, a promotion, a bigger house, a better car, a new look or an updated wardrobe. We are trying to keep up with the Jone’s. Doing retail therapy to fill the emptiness or make us feel whole. No matter what we do or how much we gain, it still seems we never have enough. We still find we are struggling for fulfillment and we are constantly striving for more. It’s a dog eat dog world out there and we have been spending our time, effort, and money to make sure we get our take of the pie. And still it doesn’t fill us up inside.

THE HANGING MAN has swung into our reading this week to let us know it is time to slow down and do a little soul searching. This ‘Gotta’ get ahead, ‘I can do it myself’ mentality is taking it’s tole on us and the pace has become too much to sustain. We may have even finally gotten what we thought we wanted or needed. We thought it would fulfill us and we would be happy now that we achieved our wishes. But instead, we feel empty or let down somehow. Perhaps it was the chase we really enjoyed and the carrot at the end of the string was irrelevant after all. It all seems so superficial and unsatisfying now, and the yearning in our soul didn’t go away like we thought it would. What we thought was going to be the answer to our problems or the cure to our emptiness, didn’t pan out after all.

THE HANGING MAN is now looking for something deeper to answer the yearning in his soul. He has chosen to suspend his chase for more material things. To surrender to a higher power. To look towards the heavens for enlightenment and fulfillment. If you look closely at the picture, you can see that the chains around his legs are loose. They are only supporting him, and he can get down and walk away any time he chooses. He has chosen to ‘hang around’; no one is holding him against his will or making him stay. He has surrendered his troubles to a higher power and is waiting patiently for answers and enlightenment. He is no longer looking to worldly things to make him feel whole, but is instead looking towards ‘the Light’. He has finally realized it is time to stop his struggling and you can too. Do you have issues or emptiness  you have been struggling with?  Have been trying in vain to solve these yourself or to bury them, run from them, buy them away? It’s time to stop running, engaging in retail therapy or self-soothing. We don’t have to do it alone or carry our burdens by ourselves anymore.  Stop your worrying, your scurrying, your striving. Slow down, take a breath. Just hang out for awhile. Hand your burdens and your heavy heart to the Lord. Surrender… let go and let God.

                     Rising Above

“I see only beauty and grace.”

Card meaning: Let go of the ordinary and step into the extraordinary. You have potential that you haven’t even begun to tap into. This is the time to reach higher than ever before, so do not fall down before doubt. Remember your true calling.

The Universe Wants You to Know: Just as the Lotus rises up out of the mud into the light, so you are rising up to even greater heights. Sometimes this occurs naturally, and sometimes it’s an act of will. This is the time to rise above any situation that’s not empowering. Even if there are some people you might leave behind, let your light shine for all to see. Rise up and step into your potential. You are indeed a healer, a teacher, and a leader.

Questions to Ask Yourself: What do I need to do to rise above? Is there a fear that holds me back from rising above my current challenge? How would my life change if I stepped into my role as a leader, teacher, or healer?

~The Arrows of Love

Seeing this card in your Reading is an indication that something is entering your life very quickly. This could be a message you receive that requires quick action. It could be someone entering your life very suddenly, a sudden chance to travel by air or a sudden change that causes a flurry of  activity or things to happen very quickly. This could be love entering your life  suddenly or a sudden spark that ignites a flame in you. This could be an idea, an invitation, a burst of energy, or something you are enthusiastic about. This is something that you are passionate about or for,  and that will involve you in unexpected but welcomed action or activity. This card is all about things that enter your life very quickly and require action or result in a sudden reaction. This could even be an inspirational message from above or a jolt of intuition that spurs you into action. There is a lot of momentum behind what is entering your life this week. It almost has a life of it’s own and can quickly run amuck or run away with you if you aren’t careful. Think of a little snowball someone places at the top of a snowy hill while you watch joyfully, half way down. Then, without warning, they push it over the edge. The next thing you know, this giant ball of heavy snow is hurtling down towards you at break neck speed and now you are running for your life! So you must guard against getting involved or reacting too quickly or hastily to whatever it is that captures your attention this week. Don’t let this new impetus spark such a big fire within you that you ended up suffering burnout or become so engulfed in this flame that it consumes you or gets out of control. Run WITH this energy, but don’t let it run OVER you. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Keep a handle on things, slow it down a bit, keep control and this energy will give you a much needed lift to your spirit. It will provided you with motivation, energy and the momentum to carry you through as long as you stay ahead of it, be aware of the consequences before acting, and stay in control. With a little forethought, this could be the breath of fresh air you have been waiting for!

THE EMPEROR

 ~Provider

~Protector

~Ruler

~Bringer of Order  ~Masculine Energy

~Leader

~Authority Figure

~Father, Husband, Strong Male Energy Figure, Boss or Enforcer of the rules

The Emperor is the masculine energy that enables us to make a life for ourselves here on earth in an orderly and concrete way. He (or She) is the one in charge of building the empire, making and enforcing the rules, providing food, clothing, shelter and protection for those under his rule. He is someone in a position of Power. Whenever you see this card you can count on there being an encounter with, or a need for, masculine energy and power. There is a need to take control of a situation or take charge of people or things. To be a leader, an authority figure, or a disciplinarian to yourself or to others under your command. There is a need to enforce or perhaps to make some rules to bring about order in your or others lives. If this symbolizes a person, many times this is a very serious, logical, and powerful authority figure you’ll have dealings with this week. They could be a Father, Husband, Boss or  other powerful person who is not afraid to take charge. Their purpose in life is to provide, conquer and protect. To make and enforce rules in order to gain, maintain, or control their environment. They are responsible for providing  structure and stability for themselves,  their families or those under their authority. They protect themselves and their own. They provide concrete material things such as food , clothing, and shelter. If you have chosen this card today, perhaps you have been allowing others to take your power or to control your life . You may have gotten used to being in the background, have accepted a submissive role, or enjoy being taken care of to the detriment of your own personal power. This card is giving you notice that it is time to take control of your own life and affairs. Be in charge and be in the drivers seat instead of being a passenger in your life with no control over where you are going. No longer being at the mercy or whims of others. Or, on the other hand, if you’ve been the one who is always taking responsibility for everyone and everything, perhaps now is the time to let someone else take charge. To delegate and take care of things for you for a change. So, whether you encounter someone with this energy, need someone with this energy, or it is you who needs to  embody this energy and take charge; there is a need for some Leadership. Someone to make things happen and take responsibility. Someone to  lay down the Law! To take control and to establish a sense of safety, stability and order. This card is asking you to step into your power and take charge of whatever is in your command.

DEATH

 ~A necessary ending

~Rebirth

~Change

~Transformation

~A Change in the Status Quo

When you see Death in your Reading, you may be terrified that you or someone you know is going to die. Calm down! That is not the meaning of this card… at least not in the physical sense. This Death is a symbolic one. It means you need to make a change in your life or to let go of something in your past or present that is hampering your growth. Something needs to ‘die’  or end in order for something else to be ‘born’ or enter. There is a person, a relationship, or a situation in your life that you have outgrown or that no longer serves your highest good. It’s time to let something go so that there is room for something better to enter. Are you pretending to be someone you really aren’t in order to please or be accepted by others? Then this card is telling you it is time to take off that mask and step into who you really are. To live authentically and be true to the person you were originally created you to be. Nothing about you was a  mistake. You were created with a carefully planned out blue print for a specific reason. To fulfill a specific need or task in this world. You were created perfectly for this part in mind. Nothing…, absolutely nothing about you was a mistake! So,  stop trying to fix something that isn’t broken or covering up something that’s already perfect just as it is. Again, nothing about you is a mistake!  Also, if you are involved in things or with people that don’t make you feel good about yourself or help you to grow, then let them go. If you aren’t creating a life that feeds your soul, then change it!  If something or someone feels stale; is holding you back or is no longer supporting you or helping you grow… release it. Let it or them go. If you are filling your head or heart with thoughts that you are somehow inadequate or not enough…, change your thoughts. Remember, you are perfect just the way you are. If someone or something makes you feel dead inside, it’s time to cut it/ them loose. Cut off that deadwood! Get rid of it so new growth can enter your life. Are you clinging to something or someone out of fear of the unknown or change? It may already be over and it’s ending is inevitable anyway. Your hanging on won’t change anything and is only prolonging your pain. This card is about letting go of what no longer serves you. Embracing change and allowing the rebirth and transformation that follows when you accept what has ‘died’  and finally let it go. After all, when one door closes, another always opens. Don’t just stand there at the threshold… walk through it. Accept the ‘rebirth’ that is waiting on the other side.
