Blog Post #22 – Tarot Card for the Week of Dec. 31st – Jan. 7th

 Four of Water

This week we finally will get a break as we see a close to the frenzied pace and the hustle and bustle of the Holidays. All the standing in crowded lines to get that perfect gift for that particular person (one of many!), gatherings and parties, hurrying here and there to get to places and to get things done at a certain time. Whew!!!!

With the Four of Waters, known in other decks as the Four of Cups or Hearts signifying the emotions); Suddenly it’s all over. There’s Stillness & Silence… There’s time and space to just BE…to sit and reflect on all that’s happened and assess what it is we have, what we have not but want, have done, haven’t done; what we want to carry over into the New Year and what baggage we need to release and let go of. We finally have time to ourselves to contemplate and reflect on our lives. Then we can ready ourselves to recognize new opportunities being offered by clearing away the unnecessary and outmoded.                       

This card asks us not to be sullen or broody about what went wrong or because we are bored with what we currently have; thinking ‘the grass must be greener on the other side of the fence’, but instead to appreciate what we have and to let go of what no longer serves our highest good. By clearing away the deadwood in our lives, we can recognize and accept the new opportunities that will inevitably be coming our way. This is the true New Years Resolution… “I will let go of that which no longer serves me in order to recognize and accept the new opportunities coming my way that will serve my highest good.”

In A nutshell: Introspection, Reflection, Contemplation, Trusting in the abundance of opportunities. Sullenness, Sulking, Boredom, “the grass is always greener on the other side” way of thinking; missed or unrecognized opportunities. Time to clean your inner and outer “house”.

JESUS/OPEN YOUR HEART TO LOVE: Everything that you desire and every prayer that you seek comes as a result of opening your heart to both sending and receiving love. Your heart is the gateway to receptivity. It is the answer to every question you have about your love life, relationships, health, life purpose, and so forth. The more you allow yourself to love, the greater depth and meaning your life holds. Jesus and the other ascended masters will support you in this endeavor, ensuring that you’re protected and safe as you open your heart to love. Additional meanings for this card are: To manifest a soul-mate relationship, heal any fears about giving or receiving love. Forgive those who seem to have hurt you. Be loving with yourself. This means taking good care of your body through sleep, detoxification, and exercise. It also means taking care of your needs as you would for others. To have more energy, abundance, peace, purpose, and everything that you desire, nurture yourself. Additionally, this card means Balance giving to others with receiving for yourself. Honor your inner voice. Get some rest. Take care of your body. Nurture your inner child. Your life’s purpose involves helping children. Mother Mary is with you, helping and guiding you. Mother Mary is the beloved mother of Jesus who is renowned for her purity and compassion. Mary helps children (including our inner children) and caretakers of children. You can ask Mother Mary for a Divine assignment to help children as your life’s work.

Blog Post #20 – Tarot Card for the Week of Dec. 17th – Dec. 23th

       Ace of Wands

This weeks blog post Tarot Reading card is the Ace of Wands. It is a card of New beginnings, inspiration coming from Spirit, ideas and projects that are started with great energy, enthusiasm, optimism and passion. This week you may find yourself being all fired up and raring and tearing to get going on a new idea or project that you suddenly were inspired to do or create. You may find your libido or passion for someone is at a peak. You feel over the Moon in love (or at least in lust) for them and like you are capable of doing anything. Because this energy is so intense it fuels everything in your life and propels you forward. It may be THE Source of your energy right now. You will feel on top of the World and like you can scale tall buildings in a single bound, like Superman or Supergirl. Anything you can think up, you feel driven to do, and you have the confidence the do it too. But this is only the inspiration, the first step or the idea itself. It does not guarantee that you will complete it. That part is up to you. But this card gives you the inspiration, idea, enthusiasm, the energy and the drive to get you off to a good start. Use it well!

On the card we have quite a lot of symbolism… The main image to recognize is the Wand. It symbolizes ones power and energy. On the Wand we see little cherubs at the top which symbolize the power and inspiration for these ideas comes from Spirit/Universe/ or the Source (Whatever Source your beliefs are seated in). They also have a bow and arrow, which you might recognize as a symbol of love and attraction like you might see on a Valentine’s Day card. So love or attraction could be the source of your idea or energy right now. You also see that the Wand is Gold, symbolizing that these ideas, projects and goals have great value to you. The Wand also has vines growing up it. The Gold vines symbolize it’s growth and success is worth it’s weight in Gold to you. You my also notice that growing from the Wand and up to the persons wrist is green growth… this suggests that this is something just sprouting, and in order to continue it’s growth, it is up to you to see that it keeps growing and can be brought into the physical World and manifested. Right below the green growth, we see flames licking at the Wand. This symbolizes the passion, enthusiasm, optimism and our energy that drives us in the outer World and keeps us going and gives us our purpose. This is known as Kundulini energy. That surge of Spirit that flows hot and heavy in us. Sexual energy that can be used to propel and drive us forward. We need to take care that we put this energy to good use and to further our goals and desires, otherwise it becomes too hot for us or others to handle and can become destructive energy, or on the other hand… just burns itself up and goes out all together. The steam on the lake below the Wand tells us just how hot this energy can get, so use it in a constructive way or you could burn yourself or others up or out. Use it to thrust you forward in achieving your goals (as suggested by the magnificent mansion on the hill in the background), keeping your energy up in order to propel you forward with enthusiasm and passion in and for life. This is the beginning of something new. It is up to you to keep the fire going so that you may see it through to it’s completion.

THE WORLD

The Tarot Card for this weeks Tarot Reading blog post is: THE WORLD. THE WORLD is a major arcana card, which means you are going through a Major step, phase or transformation in your life at this time. THE WORLD suggests completion of one stage of your life before you begin a whole new phase. It can indicate you are coming to the conclusion that it is time to end something that has been of importance in your life, but no longer serves your best interest or is holding back your ability to grow and move forward. THE WORLD could be showing that you have completed a phase or project you have been working on for sometime, and now it is time to celebrate your accomplishments and all the hard work you have put in to get to this completion. It’s time to throw yourself a party, buy yourself a reward for a task well done, treat yourself to something special to celebrate making it through a rigorous or tough period. Whatever you have completed, take the time to acknowledge your accomplishment , celebrate however you feel is appropriate, and then get ready to move into the next brand new phase of your life. THE WORLD  is a card of things that go around in cycles. The seasons, rites of passage such as birth, puberty, graduations, marriage, childbearing, empty nest,  retirement, menopause, old age and death. Then the cycle starts all over again. Could be getting a job then leaving the current job and then getting a promotion or new and better job, or retiring all together. Starting school, going through school, completing school and finally celebrating this with a graduation ceremony. Finding a mate, marrying the mate, living a long and loving life together, or perhaps divorcing or a death  completes the cycle with that mate and then starting the process all over again or finding  love within yourself completes you. Cycles, completions, celebrations and rites of passage that allow you to end one phase, celebrate and/or acknowledge what has been completed, and then moving on, growing, and starting a new phase all over again. On the  solely physical plane; THE WORLD can indicate travel, especially overseas. Perhaps even an assignment or job or enlistment or extended stay is indicated. But this is definitely bigger or at least further than in the country or even continent that you live in currently. This is THE WORLD. Pat yourself on the back, throw a party, give yourself a hug, burn that old marriage certificate, hang that diploma on the wall! Whatever you have or need to complete, do it, celebrate it or have a ritualistic commemoration to acknowledge that it has been finished, then move on into your new phase of life

Your Soul lotus is blossoming. Just like a plant that outgrows the pot in which it has been planted and requires more soil to spread its roots and continue growing, your Soul lotus needs some more mud- some more water and earth energy – so that it can grow and shine.In the Spiritual worlds, all things serve. Everything. Including our darker emotions and parts of our body that we may not think are acceptable. They are actually good nourishment for our Soul. The Soul craves to love and be in love with all parts of you! Like a passionate divine lover, it wants to hold nothing back and become completely spiritually intimate with all aspects and all parts of you whether you have thought they were lovable or not. This can be challenging because it can feel extremely uncomfortable to visit and consciously engage with those aspects of our personality and our bodies that we have yet to really love and accept. Yet this is what you are guided to embrace now. This process might be started by taking a class or engaging in a physical practice that honors the shadow part of you. If you have considered yourself an introverted person, it might be time to honor the counter side of this, the part that needs community and people in order to thrive. If you consider yourself a quiet person, you might need to explore how you can find joy through sound, music and energy, for example. If you consider yourself a passionate person, you could benefit from finding the part of you that is peaceful and content in the moment with things exactly as they are right now. The inner play isn’t about saying that who you are now is not enough, it is about acknowledging that you are that thing that you believe you are not – and finding a way to live it with consciousness and love. It is about delving into the parts of you that have been hidden in a vale of shadows, and are now becoming ready to be revealed and live as a part of the beautiful and whole being that you are in truth. In particular, this oracle card asks you to look at where you can nourish your emotional and physical life with more focus – perhaps through art, creativity, journaling about your dreams, creating collages, or engaging in dance or other forms of movement. Your spirit needs it to thrive at this time.

A PRAYER FOR ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE VALE OF SHADOWS: I pray to Kuan Yin, (Mother Mary, or whomever your Spirit Mother may be), beloved mother, please help me be fearless in the the Vale of Shadows, realizing that I am just growing in self-awareness and whatever has grown ugly through lack of love will gleam like a polished jewel through my attention, willingness to love and accept all parts of me and my life with more consciousnesses. Om Mani Padme Hum. May all parts of me be blessed. Om Mani Padme Hum.

This weeks card is the Three of Pentacles. After taking some time off for the Thanksgiving weekend (hopefully you got some time off to enjoy the company of Family and Friends), now it is time to get back to work. After taking a break and hopefully getting your batteries recharged, you are more capable of heading back to work and putting your best efforts into whatever you do. Whether your work is the very demanding job of taking care of a Home and Family 24-7, a creative project you are trying to master, Business, a Laborer, Administrative work, Restaurant or Cafe`worker or Construction or Health Care… whatever your work is, the Three of Pentacles is all about becoming a master of your trade. Not cutting any corners, putting your whole Self into your work. Doing the very best job you possibly can and gaining a good reputation and  the respect as well as the eye of those you are trying to impress… even if that is yourself (which I think is the foundation for success!) Whatever it is you do for a living, put your best efforts into it, because you get out of it what you put into it! Show case your work, whether it is a warm home and wonderful children, a project, or your own Business. Get busy and really put your back into it. Become a master of whatever sustains you. Don’t be afraid to SHINE!!!

For my weekly tarot blog post reading, we have drawn the king of fire from the good tarot deck. In other decks you may know him by the name of king of wands. he has come to us this week to tell us to use the connection we have with our spiritual source and  higher selves to inspire creative ideas and things that instill passion within us. this inspiration can be used to make plans in our careers, our parenting, our businesses,  any projects or creations of any kind we may be working on. he is telling us to be creative in our work, but at this time, it is time to take action on our ideas and plans. To use that fire energy to make things happen. get your work done. you may find there is way too much for one person to handle, so go ahead and delegate some of your work to others… just get it done. he is also telling us to be creative and do whatever we are truly passionate about. this king is passionate in all he does. he is sexually passionate. intensely passionate about his career and work, his lover, his children, his responsibilities. so this week, find your passionate creative side and make love, make plans, make it happen. get it done. you have the energy, power and endurance to take action and make anything happen this week. like last week’s chariot driver, make it so!
